Using four exterior mounted cameras, the Surround View Monitor provides a zoomable, 360 of your EV6 and its surroundings. It’s a great confidence boost when manoeuvring in tight spaces or parallel parking.

Before a passenger exits the EV6, Safe Exit Assist will warn and if necessary keep the door locked if it detects a a vehicle approaching from behind in the blind spot.

On the open road, Smart Cruise Control uses radar sensors and a camera to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle directly ahead while a trio of anti-collision systems scans for pedestrians and oncoming vehicles at intersections.

The EV6’s Intelligent Speed Limit Assist system uses a front view camera and navigation data to keep you informed of the current speed limit.

Should you attempt to change lanes while an object is in the blind spot, the Blind Spot Collision Avoidance system warns you with audio-visual alerts and haptic steering feedback. Even if you were to miss these warnings, the Electronic Stability Control will ultimately take over to prevent a collision.

Racing inspired GT bucket style seats with GT embossed logo and neon green highlights feature extensive lateral and back support.

Premium materials are used throughout the cabin, with tastefully integrated sports-inspired elements.

Active sound design helps to create a richer performance environment inside the EV6 GT. Playing via the Meridian high-performance audio system, occupants can adjust the character and volume of the sound generated to enhance the driving experience.

Ahead of you, two curved, panoramic screens provide a huge 24 inches of immersive display for navigation, entertainment, convenience and vehicle information. The display is both beautiful to look at and easy on the eyes with an integrated blue light filter to reduce eye strain and driver fatigue.

Adjust the ambient lighting to set the mood and stream your favourite artist on the 14-Speaker Meridian® Premium Sound System (standard on GT-Line) The separate subwoofer and external amplifier surround you with rich and detailed hi-fi sound with no engine noise to detract from the performance.

Thoughtful features abound, including a wireless charging pad for your phone and USB-A and USB-C ports integrated into the floating centre console. Rear seat passengers have their own USB-C ports behind each front seat, ensuring that every device is charged and connected.

The EV6 GT features a distinct front bumper that highlights the car's width and gives it a stable, firmly-planted stance.

At the rear, an aero spoiler, statement LED taillights and unique diffuser complete the GT look.

EV6 GT is the first vehicle to be built on Kia’s visionary Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). Developed exclusively for electric vehicles, E-GMP delivers superior handling and safety as well as increased power and range and ultra-rapid charging times.

The EV6 GT sits on a 2.9m wheelbase, similar in length to a midsize SUV. This translates into luxurious amounts of interior space with legroom of 1,078mm at the front and 990mm at the rear. Even with four people, there is still plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the journey.

With Ultra Fast Charging it takes as little as 18 minutes to go from 10 to 80% charge and if a small power boost is needed on a longer trip, it’s possible to achieve a top-up charge of 100km in less than five-minutes. Accessed via an electronically controlled cover, the multi-charging system operates with both 400 V and 800 V chargers without the need for an additional adapter.

Fancy a road trip from Queenstown to Christchurch, Auckland to Rotorua? With up to 424km^ of driving range, EV6 gives you the freedom to get there and back on a single charge. Regenerative braking extends your range even further, while waste heat is recaptured from the motor and other electric components to reduce winter range loss by almost 19% (grade dependent).

This ingenious feature allows you to remotely park your EV6 and exit parking spaces from outside the vehicle using the key fob. A suite of advanced sensors takes control, precisely guiding the vehicle into even the tightest of parking spaces.

The same innovative thinking powers the hands-free smart tailgate, which can be set to open to a desired height, avoiding low ceilings or other obstacles. When you have your hands full, simply stand behind your parked EV6 for 3 seconds with the key close by. The tailgate will sense your presence and open automatically.

EV6 is also the first Kia to introduce i-Pedal mode, allowing you to control the vehicle’s speed and braking using only the accelerator pedal. It’s the perfect antidote for stop-start city traffic.

When you need a little extra power for something else, like inflating a tent or powering a fridge, the EV6 becomes your portable energy source. The innovative Vehicle-to-load (V2L) function delivers 3.6 kW of 220 V AC power - more than enough to run your devices. All EV6 models feature an internal V2L output via a NZ household 3 pin outlet. With a power output of 430kW (585 horsepower) and 740Nm the EV6 GT rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. It will go on to reach a top speed of 260kph.
