What's the same
The engine is the same across both vehicles. Both the Sorento and Santa Fe have the 2.2L DOHC 'R series' Turbo Diesel under the hood providing power when you need it. Both are also in the large SUV category and have 7 seats to fit all your family and friends.
What's different
Other than the looks there's big differences below the skin, in previous years the Sorento and Santa Fe shared the chassis (the bones of the car). The latest Sorento released this year has a brand new chassis system, an evolution on Santa Fe.
