With some of the most advanced active safety features available in a Kia, the all new Stinger will be one of our safest cars on the road.

The application of hot-stamping technology for a more rigid body has been extended to a level that surpasses many others. 

Blind spot detection

The system detects approaching vehicles within a distance of up to 70 meters and warns you when they enter your blind spot zone, and that it may be dangerous to change lanes.

Forward collision warning system

The forward collision warning system (FCWS) is designed to help keep you at a safe driving distance from the vehicle in front. An alarm sounds if it senses you’re too close and a collision is possible. 

Rear cross traffic alert

The RCTA system works when backing out of a parking spot or driveway. The system warns the driver if it detects any cross traffic in the either direction while the vehicle is reversing. 

Lane keep assist

Lane keep assist (LKC) is designed to alert the driver when the system detects that the vehicle is about to deviate from a traffic lane without any indication. It may also correct the vehicle to maintain the occupied lane. 

Active hood system

The active hood system will help protect a pedestrian in the event of an emergency, the AHS system absorbs shock by lifting the hood to absorb some of the impact.

Driver attention warning

The driver attention warning monitors the driver and will give warning signals to encourage the driver to take a break if it senses the driver's attention level has been significantly reduced.

7 airbags

Built with the driver’s and passenger’s safety as the top priority the Stinger has dual front airbags, a driver’s knee airbag, front-seat side airbags, and side-curtain airbags.

High beam assist

A camera installed on the windshield senses ambient lighting and the brightness of other cars and automatically turns on and off the high beam to help you drive safer at night.

Autonomous emergency braking

Using radar and camera data, the Stinger senses the potential for a collision with a pedestrian, car or object ahead, and applies emergency braking to avoid or reduce the effects of a collision.

Seat bolster adjustment

The driver's seat in the all new Stinger GT Sport is equipped with an adjustable bolster system that is controlled by the pressure inside air cells.

Supervision cluster

The 7˝ TFT LCD landscape cluster display nestled between the cluster gauges displays vehicle and driving information with outstanding visibility.

Alloy foot pedals

Sports inspired alloy foot pedals to complement the interior look of the Stinger. Rubber grips ensure that your foot stays in place.

Nappa leather

The GT Sport is available with ultra-soft nappa leather interior with deeply contoured seats to keep the driver and passengers in place.

Dual-zone climate control

The driver and front passenger can adjust their own personal temperature settings, while the system automatically maintains the desired climate. The rear passengers can control the temperature manually from the rear centre console

Heated & ventilated seats

The first row passengers can enjoy heated seats during cooler weather, while front passengers also benefit from soothing cool airflow on warm days.

Integrated memory system

Store customised seat and side mirror positions for two drivers, removing the hassle of repositioning the driver's seat each time. The memory settings are connected to the smart keys and will alter automatically depending on the key detected inside the car.

Heads up

The heads up display is customisable with key information that you need is projected on to the windscreen. The display can be adjusted so it's in line with each driver's view.

Wireless charging

The all new Stinger can charge your compatible smartphone. The centre console tray will let your phone charge, and will alert you when you leave the vehicle and leave your phone behind.

Designed in Kia’s European studio under the hand of Kia's Head of Design, Peter Schreyer and tested on the grueling Nürburgring, the Stinger is an uncompromising rendition of the true Gran Turismo ethos - nimble and fast, luxurious and quiet with the perfect balance of ride and handling.

Wing mirrors

The wing mirror is aerodynamically designed to reduce drag. It is also heated, folds away and uses electrochromic mirrors to reduce the glare from vehicle headlights behind. 

LED Headlights

The Stinger is equipped with full LED bi-function headlights, with both the high-beam and standard beam projecting from both units. 

Quad Exhaust

From the back, Stinger has four oval exhaust pipes adding the sporty look and commanding presence.

Alloy wheels

Each model of the Stinger is equipped with alloy wheels, with the 18" alloys on EX and different designed 19" alloys for GT Line and GT Sport. 


Rear lamps

The LED rear tail lights are a design feature directly from the original 2011 GT concept and is a signature look of the Stinger. 

Aero fender

The visually stunning aero fender runs along the front fender and the door, adding to the signature look of the all new Stinger 

Smart. So you can enjoy the drive.

Apple CarPlay

Apple CarPlay is a smarter, safer way to use your iPhone in your new Stinger. CarPlay takes certain apps on your iPhone and puts them on the Stinger's infotainment display.

Android Auto

Android Auto connect the Stinger's infotainment system with an Android smartphone. Some of your apps will work through the simple and intuitive interface. It's designed to minimise distraction so that you can stay focused on the road ahead.

Harman / Kardon sound

Available in the GT Sport the Harman / Kardon sound system comes with 15 speakers including under-seat subwoofers and an 8" touchscreen. 

Around-view monitor

The around-view monitor uses four cameras around the vehicle to get a surround view of the area. The feed from those four cameras is used to create and overhead, or bird's eyeview of the vehicle and its surroundings.

Rear view monitor

As an option, you can turn on the rear view camera when driving and have this displayed on the infotainment screen. 

Smart cruise control

The smart cruise control is technology that maintains a safe distance from vehicles in front by automatically adjusting driving speed when needed.The system will bring the vehicle to a complete stop and will get back up to speed once the way is clear. 

Ready to GO!

The new Kia Stinger will arrive as a rear wheel drive, powered by a 3.3 litre V6 twin turbo mated to an 8-speed transmission. The Stinger produces 272kW of power and an impressive 510Nm of torque reaching an expected 0-100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. There will also be a 182kW 2.0 litre turbo on offer.
